Do not buy from Mr Price Home Online store- you will not have the product nor the refund - Service Sucks

I had an unpleasant experience with Mr Price Home Online, I place an order in and around the 16 May 2024 order number *** and paid cash at Mr Price Home Honeydew . On the 20th of May 2025, i received an email from Mr Price Home Online with the following information: " We've good news and bad news. The goods news , your order is ready to go. The bad news. Unfortunately an items in your orders is currently out of stock". I went to the Honeydew store on Friday 23 May 2025, i tried to get my refund however I was told to wait for a refund voucher. On the 30 May 2025, I got an email advising me that my order was cancelled. On the same day, I got a Gift Voucher. On the 11 June 2025, I went to Mr Price in Pretoria West, to try and get a refund however I was told that Mr Price Home and Mr Price are different stores. So they refused to refund me and I was told to go and look for Mr Price Home. On the 12 June 2025, i drove to Pretoria East to find Mr Price Home. I found one at Parkview. I went there to ask for my refund (mind it is almost a month since I tried to buy a mere sheet (winter sheet). I spent n 1hr where I was told I need to submit my bank statement to Mr Price Home finance dept and it will take 7 to fourteen working days (15 days) to get my money back. I was talking a very arrogant and disrespecting agent called Nox Makina. Nox told me that I should buy something as the gift voucher is not allowed to be cashed (Imagine this was supposed to be a refund since the store did not have the product), I disputed the process. I requested to speak to a supervisor or manager, Nox told me all were on lunch as it was lunch time, she cannot call them. The time was 12h41 midday. The supervisor name is Claudell Pillay and the manager is Analine Chetty. She could not call them to talk me. She then dropped the call and told the Parkview staff member that they will me, I should wait. I threatened that I will cause a scene, i was going to make myself be arrested, so that this would make news that Mr Price Home refused to refund me money that was paid in almost a month ago. On hearing that Nox , called back and requested the store to refund me.

I would never ever buy from Mr Price Home Online again, the whole month I have no product nor refund. The plan was to get a winter sheet, imagine in this cold , I did not have the winter sheet but the money was stuck at Mr Price Home. The service from the Pretoria West store manager (that is what the lady said ) Pinky I think, who told me that Mr Price Home and Mr Price are two different stores and cannot assist with a refund. I cannot even use my voucher at her store, imagine, as it was from Mr Price Home. Shocking ...
