Dishonest and not obliging by CPA laws.

Contravention of section 23 of the consumer protection act. A supplier cannot ask a consumer to pay a price higher than what is marked on the item. Clearly they don't care about these laws. I visited Mr Price Home Randburg square. An item was clearly marked on sale as R299, upon ringing up at the till the price reflected R699. The store manager made every excuse in the book not to honor the marked price. I have photo evidence of the sale sticker and price on the item yet they did not want to honor the marked price. This is shocking from a store meant to be following the CPA. I will take this up with the consumer ombudsman as I have sufficient evidence. Shocking service to a customer who has been loyal to them for years.
