Disappointing Experience

Today I popped into the Kyalami Corner Mr Price Home - picked up 2 black toilet brushes. While the teller was ringing up the 2 items, I noticed 1 was scanned as R59.99 and the other as R69.99. When I pointed out the price difference between the exact 2 products, the teller and the Supervisor standing next to her insisted that it’s correct. To which I responded why, if it is the exact same products, why am I paying different prices. The Supervisor so smartly responded that the barcodes are different and that’s why I must pay different prices. She insisted that it’s correct. Why? Why? To which I then walked out of the store and did not conclude my purchase. Dear Mr Price - Please educate your staff. I am not sure how that makes sense in any possible logical scenario. Very disappointed... the experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I unfortunately will never visit your Kyalami Corner store again. She insisted
