Cruel Annah store manager

2015 i joined mrp group worked for 2 months and i lost my mom and i had to stay home for funeral preparations and on monday after funeral i was called to come back at work of which i couldnt i was emotionally unprepared so i stayed home (absconded) so i app**** at sheet street and i wasnt taken because Annah store manager said i never returned the bucket of cakes that they bought for me in my time of sorrow...she told the store manager from sheet street the glen mall that i work hard im good at what i do but he musnt hire me because of a bucket of cakes how cruel is that?? I had lost my mom she wouldnt know that cause her mom is still alive im so hurt i will never ever support mrp me and my family no more
