Contravention of the consumer protection act

<p>This weekend we went shopping for a laundry basket at Mr Price Home Randfontein, we found a lovely set on display and decided to purchase it. At the teller we were told that it is not a set even though it was displayed as a set with one price tag, each item had a separate price tag hidden under the cloth. See attached image. The explanation given was that there wasn't enough space to display the products separately so they put the smaller baskets inside the larger ones and displayed it like this. This is a clear violation of the consumer protection act and to say the least we ended up without the product we wanted. The staff were also sarcastic while apologizing for the inconvenience. Mr Price Home really got me worked up and upset, I won't be entering your store any time soon again.</p>
