Bad service

Visited the PE Greenacrs shop on the 05/01/2022 just after 17:00. Shop was very quiet most of the floor attendance was busy tiding up shop since they closing at 18:00. We were only 3 people in the shop at that time.

While doing our shopping we were assisting by a very friendly lady. Helping us make very informed choices with her recommendations. When done we went to the till point to pay. Upon arrival at the pay point there, there was a lady busy with some admin stuff. After standing there for almost 5min she just walked away. Me and my friend then start asking each other “what just happened” did she just leave us standing here. This was just a conversation between us. Not even complaining after standing there.

Then another young lady appeared telling us,” that the lady that was behind the pay point was a manager and not a cashier” but in a very aggressive tone like she’s talking to a 5year old. Which i really didn’t like. I then answered her, by asking her. How were we suppose to know that? She then kept on by saying I’m telling you then she’s not a cashier but a manager.

Then she ended her sentence by saying in afrikaans we just spoiling her day. I mean, if she was at the till point when we got there, she was going to help us. Even the so called manager could’ve told us, sorry guys I’m busy with something I’ll call someone to help you. But no communication from her as well.

This is not my first incident at the very same store. They like to act as if they doing you a favour by helping you. I’d rather drive a little further to Mr Price home at William Moffet. They really know how to treat their paying customers. My last visit!!
