Bad Online Shopping Experiences for Black Friday

The online experience is terrible.

There are great deals available online for black friday.

But there is no option for collection at the store. It took so much time to figure out that I am ultimately forced to use the delivery system which costs roughly R 400. This almost defeats the purpose of the discounts.

At any rate- I accepted this and proceeded with my order, as I was about to make payment with my card- the page just refreshed itself and the order cancelled. I could not re- order the items as it told me it is out of stock. I could not find any functionality that would allow me to make a payment. Then my order was just cancelled. Fair enough - but it did not allow me to re order as the items were out of stock. They could not have been out of stock.

I felt the entire experience consumed so much of my time- I really wanted these chairs for a long time and I was excited that it went on special. But the online experience really ruined my day.

Good Day

I appreciate you acknowledging my complaint.

However, I would like to see what gets done. Customer service already told me "Sorry there were problems with the software- There is nothing we can do. Order it again and it is too bad you lost out on the deal".

Some other form of customer service said they will re open the order for payment- why couldn't the call center version do that?

Regards
Amisha

The solution from MR Price Home was to re open the order. At full price. They logged a ticket indicating that is has been solved. When it clearly has not. How do I know I won't go through the same process- of the software just doing its own thing with my credit card involved?
