Bad Curtain Quality

I bought a set of block out curtains from Mr Price Home for my house near the end of last year. They are sold individually and I bought 8 curtains in total. This weekend I decided to wash them, I started with one set and it clearly states on the label that they are cold water washable. After a few minutes in the water, the lining became sticky, stuck together with other parts of the curtain and then began peeling off in patches and ruining the curtain fabric which now has holes all over it. The curtains are totally ruined after a single wash, I obviously haven't tried to wash the other curtains following this experience but now I am left with having dirty curtains hanging in my house because they clearly cannot be washed. This really is terrible quality especially since these are your most expensive range of curtains.
