Wasted time and incompetence

On 1 April 2018, I ordered Coke, Sushi and Fish and Chips from Ocean Basket via Mr Delivery - on arrival, there was no ****** or wasabi (despite specifically ticking the box asking for it!), and the coke was missing. I called the call centre and was told it would take an additional 45 minutes to and hour to bring the coke, wasabi and ******. Bearing in mind I had already waited an hour for the first part of the delivery to arrive. I initially spoke to Mandisa who said she would have to replace the entire sushi platter to order the ****** and wasabi, and that is why it would take that long. I tried explaining that in 45 mins, my partner’s meal (the fish and chips) would be cold! She laughed and said it won’t be cold because it hasn’t been prepared yet! (Bearing in mind the rest of the order had already been delivered and was right in front of us!) Since Mandisa clearly missed the mark, I asked to speak to the manager (Lynn) who advised that she has spoken to the driver and the restaurant and the order will arrive in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later, the order still had not arrived. I called back, and was told the driver was lost (I order from MrD an average of 6 times a month so I know most of the drivers and they all know where I live!). She advised he is new and would arrive in 10 mins. So the balance of my delivery did arrive 45 mins later after all (saying 15 mins was obviously just lip service) - and it was just the coke, wasabi and ****** - not a full replacement platter as Mandisa said. I didn’t need more that (the coke and wasabi and ******) but the issue is that Mandisa cited the preparation of the platter as the reason for the 45 mins delay. Lynn then offered a R50 voucher for the inconvenience - which is apparantly the value of the total of my 3 hours of wasted time. I therefore declined the slap-in-the-face voucher and have decided to stop using Mr Delivery for my 6x-a-month delivered meals.
