Unprofessional Delivery Driver

To the Mr D Management Team, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding a delivery experience I had yesterday. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the driver was unacceptable and resulted in me refusing the order and requesting a full refund. The issues began when the driver arrived at my residence. He was playing music at such a high volume that it caused a significant disturbance. Despite me walking outside to collect my food, he drove right past me. I returned inside and attempted to message him seven times to coordinate the hand-off, but he seemingly could not hear his phone notifications over his music. When he finally called me, the interaction was entirely unprofessional: • Lack of Courtesy: He failed to greet me and immediately demanded to know where I was, despite my multiple messages informing him I had already been outside. • Inattentiveness: I attempted to call him while standing outside, but again, his music was so loud he could not hear his phone. • Unprofessional Behavior: At one point, he exited his vehicle and stood casually by the car, appearing indifferent to the delivery task at hand. • Lack of Accountability: When we finally spoke, he offered justifications rather than an apology. He claimed he could not see the house numbers because it was dark; however, the addresses are clearly marked on the walls and well-lit. It was evident he did not take the initiative to look. Most concerningly, during our conversation, I requested my food three to four times, and the driver refused to hand over the order. Due to this hostile and unprofessional environment, I declined to accept the food and contacted your call center to escalate the matter and request a refund. I expect a delivery service to be handled with basic courtesy and efficiency, neither of which were present during this encounter. I look forward to your prompt response regarding the resolution of my refund and the steps being taken to address this driver's conduct.
