unbelievable

<p>We ordered two curries through Mr Delivery from Gourmet India and were told - for the first time - that we couldn't specify that the one curry be mild and have no panneer (like tofu). We have placed the exact same order on a regular basis for the last number of years and as recently as a week ago. This time we were told they could not request the curry to be mild and have no panneer as they have upgrade (downgraded?!) their ordering system. When we told them this is an order we place all the time they said they would have to charge us for the request! After battling on the phone over our regular order with the operator, Achona, we eventually got put through to Rowan, the Manager, who tried to explain that the new system doesn't handle additional notes with order. Neither Achona nor Rowan made any effort to try an accodate us (by contacting the restaurant themselves for example), instead they simply blamed the problem on the new system. With still no joy from him and after a very long phone call we placed the order - without our normal request (of mild and no panner) - then phoned the restaurant ourselves to advise them. I'm very disappointed in the service and attitude of Mr Delivery's staff for not being able to process our straightforward order and making no effort to try and better the situation. </p>
