Spoilt Food (DONT USE THIS SERVICE)

my order was delivered within 10 minutes great right? only to find day old food and warm drinks. its so bad i had to throw the food out because of the smell. I got InTouch with their complaints department and a lady Faiza.F emailed me back to provide reference number. that's where the problems start the food had no labels or references which mean it can't be tracked and am sure that is against health code for sale and distribution of consumer products.

I provided my payment reference and the feedback I got was here's a R50 rand voucher (to spend more money ) and we are sorry we will look into it.

Does a R50 voucher cover medical bills in the event that I get sick, who holds these fast food operator's accountable for the literal junk they feed us?

Mrd should take responsibility for food they resale and any offending restaurants should immediately provide a refund or be removed. Consumer protection act clearly states that a full refund applicable if the customer is unsatisfied with the service provided. It's bad enough we have to deal with a ******* govt let alone a non-complaint private sector that puts consumer's at risk of food poisoning.

The fact that there is no reference number means that food shouldn't have made it to my door step in the first place.
