Really Bad Package Scheduling

I ordered an item from takealot, which was scheduled to be delivered today, the 31st December 2018 by Mr D. To my surprise I got an SMS to tell me a delivery attempt was made and they just left.

I also called to try reschedule the deliver for today, since I responded less than 5 minutes after getting the SMS. I was informed Mr D has no capacity to complete delivery today - that is embarrassing for a courier service, and frustrating for a customer.
