Poor Management S****s at Mr. D Hatfield

I worked for Mr. D for 3 days and trust me their management is very poor. Management treat drivers so bad to a point that some drivers even get into serious incidents. To cut the story short, you come with your own vehicle or a motorbike, you use your own petrol for the 1st 4 weeks to collect and deliver orders around the area, you use your own data and airtime to call clients to collect their orders. when you cancel an order due to traffic delay or maybe by mistake they deduct R500 on your salary, mind you per delivery you get paid R21.50 for distance between 9 - 16 KM. So this means you have to do about 23 deliveries in order to make that R500. They hire foreign nationals because they know its easily to manipulate them. When they come to the office in Hatfield they get shouted for lame reasons like wearing a jacket in a cold morning. Even the owner of Mr. D turns a blind eye to the bad management s****s in Hatfield branch instead he supports his poor managers. Drivers resign each and every day but the owner bragged about having over 500 drivers in Pretoria. Most drivers had switched to Uber Eats which is more convenient and treats employees with dignity. I would highly recommend people to boycott Mr. D and use Uber Eats instead so that they can learn to value their drivers. We can't have casualties on the road due to the stress and frustrations that the drivers received from Mr. D Hatfield. I hope their clients will know now what's happening at Mr. D behind closed doors. The matter has been escalated to Checkpoint ENCA and more drivers will testify to this issue.
