Poor communication/ not professional

I ordered a blender from Takealot as a gift. I was told that delivery would take place today 27/12/25. I waited since the first notification came through that the item was it for delivery. I received the next notification stating that the driver could not get hold of me. I wasn't even called saying that he/she was close to the delivery address. Now I have to wait for the item to be delivered on another date of which I'm not satisfied with.
