Nonsense Customer Service

Placed an order for KFC at 21:00, accepted by the restaurant and told food would be ready by 21:30 for delivery. It is now 22:26 and food is still not ready. Called Mr. D to cancel, they tell me they will have to get approval from the restaurant for the cancellation!!! What nonsense is that? KFC shouldn't be accepting orders if they are over-inundated. Also, KFC is already half cooked when it gets to the restaurant, why should it take more than an hour to prepare? Mr. D just needs to jack up their service, but I'm definitely deleting the app.
