Mr Delivery Somerset West

I have never in my life seen a more ******* and sly company than MR Delivery! This is my situation: My spouse and I went to Medi Clinic in Somerset West because I had to visit a specialist. We spend almost the entire day there, we were hungry and tired and due to lockdown we couldn't get food anywhere. We downloaded this Mr Delivery App (First time users) and when we placed our order i indicated our location, the fact that we are in a parking lot and the type of car we were in. The payment got approved and they told us to wait one hour for our food. After morr than a hour passed with the driver still at the restaurant we ordered the food from, we reload the app to ser if the problem isnt due to the app or the signal. We got a messege that our food was delivered but no car in sight. Right after that we got another messege saying our order has been cancelled and I have to call the customer care number. Now, we are tired, we are hungry, our time just got wasted for waiting for our food, none of us want to deal with this anymore. I phoned tge customer care line and i had to hold the libe for more than 10 minutes. I ended the call and phoned again. Then i got informed that curb deliveries are not allowed and that we can only get half of our money back. These are my issues: 1. We were a first time user and nowhere it stated that curb deliveries are not allowed. 2. I dont have a residence there, we were at the hospital, so because of that i cant have something to ea? 3. I have informed then on my order that this was a curb delivery and absolutely NO ONE called me to tell me this was not allowed. They drove to the restaurant anyway, probably to pick up our food for themselves and after one hour just cancelled the order. If i didnt phone i never wouldve known. Couldnt the driver or the restaurant see what they saw when the driver arrived? 4. The lady whom i spoke to told me that they would give us half our money back, we spend almost R500 and only received around R150??????? How is that the half? 5. Ive send multiple emails to Mr Delivery but I get fully ignored.

I feel like we should get all of our money back, we had no service, we had no food, they didnt have the decency to inform us but they rather wasted our time and money.

This is lockdown people, why do you try to rip everyone off, the people are struggling to keep head above water right now, shame on you!!!
