Mr Delivery - - - Removes Money from your bank account without your Knowledge
Has anyone had an experience with Mr Delivery where money has been deducted from their bank account? This happened to me last week where I received an sms from my bank saying that R157 and some cents was being reserved for a transaction. I sent across an email to Mr Delivery requesting a contact number for and a consultant called me to say that I had not ordered in a long time but I would need to send across a bank statement as the sms was not sufficient proof that money was deducted. Last Saturday I sent across a copy of my bank statement showing the transaction which was completed. Mr Delivery emails me to say that their finance department could not find the transaction!!! The transaction is on my bank statement!! Then they email to ask for the last 4 digits of my bank account. I have still not received the details of this order, who is was delivered to, details of when my money will be returned. Surely under the popi act I have access to my data. I have also not received a contact number even though I have asked several times. I will never use their services again and the last time I did was in August so this sms and transaction confused and shocked me completely. I deleted the app and all my bank account details as clearly these are not safe and they can continue to deduct money and just say that they are not sure how this has happened. Can someone shed some light on this matter because I am frustrated chasing a company that I don't want to deal with for something that I did not even request???
