Mr Delivery earning 48hrs of interest on my money

I placed an order (DFD***0) with Mr D, the order was accepted and my money was immediately taken from my account and after waiting for almost 45 minutes, I received a message that the delivery failed and that I should contact Mr D. I called them and was nonchalantly told that the area where I stay is not safe so they will credit my Mr D wallet but not my bank account. If I want my money placed back into my account then I will have to request it via the Mr D app or via their website and the request will take two working days so weekends are not taken into account. What a joke!!! Why didn't they decline the order initially? Only after taking my money did they decide to decline, seems very sly and totally unprofessional.
