Mr D / Ocean Basket what a rip-off

Hi there, Just wanted to take a little time in informing you of our very disappointing meal on Friday night. Ordered through Mr D This was certainly no meal fit for two people to share. The piece of fish was tiny and so were the portions of calamari and chips. The prawns were nowhere near the size they should have been (these were definitely not “King” prawns and only 4 ) to insult to injury the panko zucchini was burned. The total weight of this was approximately 400g with packaging – when it cost R336.00 – not of value at all

Over and above the increased charges for using Mr. D you still charge me a delivery fee

At Ocean Basket this platter “The Big One” sells for R275……. At Mr. D it’s R336…. R61 more + R15 delivery fee

On top of this you don’t offer a 15% tip for the driver but only 10% or 20%..... WHY?

This really pathetic meal cost me nearly R500!

I will not be using Mr. nor Ocean Basket again
