Mr D Food beyond pathetic

I ordered food from Geet in Pretoria using the new Mr D Food platform for the first time. I even added a 10% tip for the driver.

The app then keeps you informed of where the order is in the system. Mine was stuck at the restaurant.

I called the Mr D Food call centre. They would call me back within 3 minutes....this after the order was running 30mins late in their app. Off course she did not call back.

After 30 mins I called again. Raul answered. Will also check and come back to me within 5 minutes. Off course he doesn’t. Intry to call to cancel my order. No one picks up the phone.

Eventually the lady to whom I spoke first, calls back. The food is ready at the restaurant but the driver is held up. We are now an hour late for the delivery. And 2 hours since I ordered the food.

I Receive another call. The driver got lost she says. He is now at the restaurant for the pick-up. Its now more than 2 hours and it will take another half hour to get to ‘my couch’. I cancel the order.

Never again Mr D Food. Never
