Mr D Food are ********* ************ and *******

Mr D Food are an absolute disgrace and Takealot should be re-thinking their affiliation to them. On Monday 8 August 2022 my daughter paced an order, #DFD***, for delivery of pizzas from Romans which cost R318.80 The driver never arrived with the pizzas after she tried contacting him on Whatsapp and phoning him, but he couldn't speak or understand English very well. No response from the driver when asked where he was so she could give directions either. Mr D Food just cancelled her order as "Order could not be completed." and said she was only entitled to a 50% refund, "Please be advised that you will be getting a 50% refund on you credit wallet for the failed delivery". Now as a client she tried her very best to communicate and get the delivery done, but all fault was on the Mr D Food side and their inadequate driver. Why should the client now have to be penalised for the inadequacies and total fault of Mr D Food? They should also not credit her wallet but refund her in cash or to the bank account she paid from. This amounts in no uncertain terms to theft and a ****. It highlights the ********* business practice to which Mr D Food obviously subscribe and I would warn any potential clients to be very weary of using them in future.
