Mr D exorbitant mark-ups on goods ordered via their mobile application

Recently tried using the Mr D app, to order food from a local take away. It so happened that during a previous visit to the take away, I grabbed a take away menu from the outlet. Did a quick price comparison between the prices on the app and those listed in their menu. Went through the process to compare the prices directly from the take away vs the Mr D pricing. All things considered, including the Delivery cost, Driver tip etc, the total varied by 42% - the total cost via Mr D app was 42% more than ordering directly and collecting from the store. I have to add that in consideration of the Driver tip (which would have amounted to 38.50 as 10% of the bill), the share to Mr D, in real value would have been close on R100 rand - for the "convenience" of using the App to place an order. Shocking how Mr D profiteers, this warrants being investigated.
