Mr D and KFC springsgate, don't accept an order if you are going to close the store and not deliver the order

Last night I ordered on Mr Delivery from KFC springsgate, order was accepted but I never received my order, no one informed me of anything, this morning I got an email from Mr D saying that when the driver arrived at the store it was closed. So they could not phone me to inform me? Why did the store accept my order then? Thanks for the R20 free delivery coupon Megan but I get free delivery on the app with the promo codes
