I placed an order and after the App told me that my food has arrived, I texted the driver to find out where he is because security was not calling me to open the gate.

I waited for a few minutes and still nothing. I then got a response from the driver saying that my area is dangerous and he's not coming and that we should atleast meet somewhere on Witkoppen. If I was in a position to leave the house then I wouldn't have used Mr D so why would I go meet the driver somewhere? Where is my safety in doing that?? When I checked on the tracker, it showed that he was still very far from me so he didn't even move from his location. What puzzles me is that I am in a SECURITY COMPLEX where they drive in to deliver so there nothing dangerous about it. Furthermore, we get deliveries here even after 8pm so why was this one different??? I even begged him to bring my food because I am not feeling well and also pregnant and very hungry. So he took my food for himself??? How inconsiderate can a person be???

The driver did not cancel the order, the app shows that I received my food and the money is gone from my account. I paid for food that I didn't receive!!!!

I want a refund for my food and I need for the driver to be dealt with accordingly. He shouldn't have accepted the trip if he was uncomfortable with it. We get deliveries here everyday in the evenings so I don't understand. I need my money back and also the driver does not deserve this opportunity to earn if he doesn't respect customers to that extent. If he had real issues he would have reported it to MR D and the order would have been cancelled and I would have been credited with the amount which is not the case. So it is complete dishonesty!

I need urgent feedback on this and my money back in the account urgently!!! This is not acceptable at all!!!
