Got riped off frim money and food

I order kfc through mr delivery before my food was delivered i had n emergency that needed my attention and last thing on my mind was to cancelled order or arrange will be leaving house this things happen .. Next day when i tried to report and get my order i was told if does not report same day they take the order how can that be right hard earning money and if you have emergency they just ohhh what hell take the food and not even refund money are this right no one can predict in life when emergency happens ..
