Faulty Mr. D web browser application costs me my meal, with no refund

I logged a ticket on Saturday 23 October 2020 at 16:58, requesting a refund for order DFD***0, due to the order being sent to the wrong address because of a problem, with the Mr. D web browser application. I phoned twice too, and nobody has emailed me or phoned back to resolve the issue that is clearly Mr. D's fault.

What happened exactly, is as follows. I open the web browser, selected “Couch”, then on the second screen, I ensure that 53 Lincoln Road is the address at the top. I place the order, then checkout,. 53 Loncoln Road, is still at the top, but on the final screen, before payment, instead of there being a "Proceed to Payment " submit button, there are two buttons, one saying "Sign in", one saying "Register", so I sign in AND Their system REMEMBERS the order items and order number, once I sign in and the browser refreshes, I did not think of checking the address again, since everything else was remembered, and I did not notice that their system defaulted to my "Home" address which I no longer live at, until live tracker started, and I see the driver going past 53 Lincoln.

I am as software developer of 23 years…. So I should have checked the address again after being asked to sign in again? Did you think that? NO, I am a, good software developer, all order details up to that point were in cache (Since order items and number were still there), and thus the "Couch" address should have naturally been used.

Please do not insult my intelligence by telling me I should have removed "Home" after I moved house. Your web browser version, does not provide the functionality to do that without starting a new order. I could have 23 000 old addresses on the system, that I have been unable to remove as yet, and their software should use current order data, period!

Once I noticed the driver going to my old address, I spoke with him in the "Chat" feature, asking him to come to 53 Lincoln, as it is on his way back to their Cape Town office. He did respond (I have the chat downloaded), but said he is back at the office and must take instruction from them.

Mr Delivery, then changed the order to "Could not be delivered" and have not refunded me, plus we never got our meal despite my intervention. THIS IS ****************!

Apologies Saturday 24 October. I will be closing my Mr Delivery profile because of such bad treatment, and I have quite an order history with them. I rather walk and buy food directly, when once in a blue moon I decide my children (One special needs), who are dealing with their mother walking out our marriage after 21 years, and me being unemployed at the moment, need a treat to lift their spirits.
