Disgruntled Assistant Hub Supervisor

When I started working at Mr Delivery in Hatfield Pretoria, I was very excited to be working for a company under Takealot which was growing by day. However the treatment has been so bad from the owners, the stressful environment has not been worth the experience. Not to mention no support from Operations Manager regarding theft at the hub which they hold the supervisor on duty responsible! They are always happy to deduct money from your pay, even if it was not your fault, they do not GIVE PAY SLIPS WHICH I AM SURE IS *******, so you do not even know what they are deducting and whether you are working overtime or not. Everyone always complains but does nothing to change their situations as we are told that we can be replaced and literally told to f** off! They swear at us, they belittle us, they pay us nothing, you can work up to 15 hours a day as a supervisor - how can you even concentrate on keeping your eyes focused let alone count money that they then deduct from you if you are short. I later resigned after a few months as the health implications from stress were just not worth a job that took time away from my sanity, family, sleep. The days you can get off they are constantly calling you. I have not even mentioned how hard they push the Black drivers who are often foreign to the point of exhaustion or accidents, then fire them! We riaj our lives opening and closing the hubs at early/late hours, they rush you to cash up which then causes mistakes which you later pay for. I have never worked for less understanding, compassionate people in my life. They simply do not care. They only employ Black people to exploit us further as they know we are desperate for employment. I am happy to be free from this modern slavery! Writing this I know will change nothing and it is simply for my own peace of mind knowing that at least one person will understand what the employees go through on a daily basis.
