Delivery guy reversed into our post box and damaged it

I ordered something through Takealot.com and Mr D delivered it but as the driver was reversing out of my property he drove into my post box. As it happened I tried to stop him but he said that when he tries to put his vehicle into first gear it goes into reverse. Apparently the vehicle was in an accident, was fixed but doesn't work properly.

I did contact Takealot.com to contact Mr Delivery for me & was phoned by someone from their Hatfield branch to obviously deny the fact that their vehicles are faulty but also to apologies for the damage. She was going to send out someone to access the damage in a days time but no one ever arrived.

It is now 10 days later, no one has come. It is impossible to find a telephone number for any of their offices and the lady didn't bother to give her name to me.

I would like this issue resolved ASAP as I need our post box fixed ASAP.
