What gaurentee do you have on a 2nd hand car.

I am happy with the service I received from VW Lindsay Saker throughout this journey (especially the driver who dropped me off and picked me up on my last visit).

I believe I have been patient with VW since I purchased my vehicle, I am not here to ask you to replace anything on my vehicle, I will do this myself, but it is not fair for first-time buyers to have to deal with this, if this is the experience we want from a reputable dealer as yourself, I would have gone to one of the dealers in joburg town, where everything on the car only lasts 1 month.

I need to understand what the rights of a client who purchased a 2nd hand vehicle from your outlet are.

First, the shocks of the car gave in within 1-2 weeks of driving the car, this was sorted out by VW. 2nd my lights gave in not even 5 months after I had the car (unfortunately this was not covered, I need to pay for this out of my pocket, and they will cover the labour). 3rd It looks like my brake pads are also giving in now (new brake pads should at least last between 30 000 and 70 000 miles). I didn’t even drive for more than 7000 miles. So whoever owned this car before me traded it in and nothing was changed to make sure that the next client had a beautiful experience with the car. The reason I chose VW Lindsay Saker and not some fly-by-night dealer was to avoid such experiences. I was hoping everything would be checked and replaced before selling me the car. Now I am having problems within the first 6 months of purchasing the car that I must pay out of my own pocket because there is no guarantee on lights, brake pads, electrical issues and other parts that are not related to the engine. My question here today is - what processes are put in place to make sure whenever a client purchases a 2nd hand vehicle from your outlet - all parts of the car will last at least 6 months?
