Useless VW Lindsay Saker

Without prejudice

Dear VWSA/Lindsay Saker

It is with utter disbelief that we are still sitting with the same problem with this VW vehicle even after an authorised full engine repair during VWSA warranty and again literally a “rebuild” at a cost in the region of R65 000.00 in early 2020 by Lindsay Saker Edenvale. The vehicle has barely covered any mileage due to various covid situations and as such has hardly covered any mileage since the last “rebuild” and now it is unsafe to drive again. How is it possible VW does not see a problem with a R 65 000 rebuild only doing 6 000km with full-service history with OEM parts from its manufacture.

Unacceptable Issue - 6 023km’s since rebuild 2019/2020 when rebuild finished and collected – R 65 000 cost plus another R 11 000 in diagnostics and services and car behaves the same as when it required an engine rebuild/overhaul and VW expects us to just pay again when they obviously and clearly have not repaired the vehicle correctly and at great expense to ourselves. VWSA and Lindsay Saker should be fixing their problem at their cost completely for as a customer we have comp**** and obligated with all VW requests, schedules and costs associated yet VW have not been responsible or in good standing nor feel obliged to investigate the matter at all for both the service and brand of VW.

We look forward to your satisfactory speedy response and resolution of this issue as a matter of urgency and a sit-down meeting between all highest-level persons who have decision making authorisation regarding the above (i.e. Dealer Principal, Service Manager, VWSA representative).
