Unable to explain problem with vehicle.

I had a problem with my ABS control module. VS quoted R35 000 for a new part. I sourced my own ABS control module and took it with my vehicle to Lindsay Saker Woodmead. The service agent was really nice and tried to install the ABS control module but the codes wouldn't load. When I asked for an explanation he referred my to the head of his department (wish I got his name). This guy had no clue what he was talking about.
