SHOCKING SERVICE AND ATTITUDE

I have purchased in excess of 100 vehicles in my lifetime.

Majority of the vehicles have been VW, of many different models, and purchased and serviced at different VW dealerships.

Service and attitude experienced at LINDSAY SAKERS FOURWAYS, has been the most disappointing and annoying. Attitude experienced,...just pay, and do not complain.

My Polo has been in for service at Fourways, and the last 2 services were quite shocking. Previous service, I was quoted an amount, which conveniently increased when collecting the vehicle. I received a call asking if the chips on the windscreen could be repaired, and was given an amount, to which I agreed.

When collecting the car, the chips were not attended to, and it took over 3 weeks of regular calls, before anyone came and attended to the windscreen chips.

The last service, I was quoted R 2500.00 for the service, and R 350.00 for wheel balancing and alignment. When booking in the car, I was already presented with an invoice, which has never happened with any of the 100 vehicles previously purchased. Not expecting the invoice, but merely the service document, I did not bring my glasses with me. The amount was read to me by Rolan, and extra "value added products" were already included in the total amount of the invoice. I had no knowledge of these, and was never advised.

I asked Rolan about these extras, and when they were explained to me, with the amount of an extra R 500.00, I agreed to have this done.

I signed the document without glasses, expecting the total to amount to be around R 3 300.00.

To my horror, when I got home and saw the invoice that I signed ,………………………………………………… the amount was R 3 833.71.

I contacted Sagheerah at Lindsay Sakers Fourways, and she rep****.. "we've correctly quoted and with the amounts agreed upon on the day of service booking"

AMAZING, I DID NOT AGREE TO AN AMOUNT OF R 3 833.71, OR ANY SIMILAR AMOUNT.

THE MATTER HAS BEEN SHRUGGED OFF, AS A MINOR IRRITATION TO LINDSAY SAKERS.

NEVER WILL I TAKE, NOR RECOMMEND LINDSAY SAKERS FOURWAYS.
