Shocking Service

After having taken my car in for service at the above listed provider, I received a routine call from the Service Advisor detailing all the additional work that needed to be done over and above the service. The call was straight forward until I was quoted for things I knew to have been working that morning. Two front park light bulbs and a reverse lights switch. I protested and informed Trevor the service advisor that both my front park lights and my reverse lights had been operational that morning. To this, Trevor asked if I was insinuating that they were running a ******* business. I realized that he was not going to address my concerns, I then asked to be transferred to the Dealer Principal. He introduced himself as Ashley, I relayed my concerns and the response I got was that electrical components can pack up at any time. I then asked them to leave the additional work and just do the service. I collected my car and headed home, on arrival I decided to inspect it. I found both my park lights and reverse lights in working condition. So was I being quoted so those parts could be used on another car?
