A Saleswoman Called Natalie, firstly did not disclose a huge scratch on the fender of the car when I went to buy a Demo car from them, it was hidden with a whitey thing to blend with the colour of the car. When I discovered the scratch almost a month after the purchase, she gave me an attitude and rude answer that if I needed a new car without scratches I should have went for a brand new car. And when I said I would take the matter up with VW SA, she later called back and claimed to have addressed the issue with her manager and decided that I must take my car for repairs and send them a quotation, I did not take the car for repairs because that was not the point, I was just shocked and disappointed that they did not disclose it in the first place, All I needed was just a sincere apology and we move on. During the transaction when I went to sign for the car, this saleswoman took the advantage of the fact that I was the first car owner and I knew nothing about cars and car contracts, she **** to me about the term of the Warranty, she purposely **** so as to finish the sale and secure a commission for herself. When she told me about that my Warranty was 3years or 120k km, I right there and then asked her when will my 3years or 120k km start and end, since I bought the car at 12k km and after 5months of its first registration, She told me Not to worry as my period was only starting at the time I was buying the car. Now fast forward to now, I was calling my nearest dealer to book my car for a check up and I stated that my car is still under warranty, to my surprise she could not pick that on the system and asked me to call my dealer(where I bought the car. I did, the lady had to first tell me about how they had to let go of their Finance lady that happens to have my complete transaction details so didn’t have much to tell me about my Warranty. So only when I showed her that there’s no way a former employee would leave with the information of the company, she came clean that my Warranty ends the following much which is June and not November and said she never told me that it ends in November, whereas she did so, she started shouting at me telling me that I should never buy a car from her/them and hung up on me, as if their are the only dealer in South Africa.
