So gone are the days of professional mechanics. I took my car to VW for what I though was going to be a quote only to get advised when I was there that the charge 900 for a ( diagnoses )... Diagnoses my ass.. I get told that the repairs are going to cost 52000, all it went in for was a minor issue on the front and they basically want to replace the entire front suspension and steering. I could have done the same diagnoses for free. I took it to the professionals in the hope that they could assist. <br> <br> Before leaving I chatted to the service manager who landed up agreeing with me which proves my point that you may aswell take your car to Engen and ask the petrol attendant to look at it.<br> <br> All I want is the problem to be fixed and not have to replace the car just so they can take the professional work out of it<br> <br> Please employ some mechanics
