Purchased a used vehicle and the salesman did not disclose the vehicle had cosmetic work done (panel Beating)

purchased the vehicle from Lindsay saker kempton Park 29/04/2016, on collection of the vehicle the GT badge was missing and later supp****. 30/04/2016 returned to inform them about the chip on the windscreen which was later replaced. 18/07/2016 informed them via email about the body work on the car which look like poor quality panel beating. 23/07/2016 met with Principal dealer and he acknowledged and accepted to repair identifying the fender and bonnet as work to be done, 26/07/2016 took the car to AA Dekra and report on body and underbody identified more body work done and identified by VW on 23/07/2016, returned to the dealer and informed him i no longer want the car as it has expensive body work done. Dealer offered another car, we offered to increase budget from R3400 to R4000.00 to accommodate a better car, the dealer decided to take the deal as a trade-in and not an exchange which is causing us to have to pay the interest difference. requested the dealer to indicate to the finance company it is not a trade-in but a substitution/cancelation or upliftment which will result in us nothing having to pay any interest all will happen is a change in product names (vin, engine and other numbers)
the dealer does not want to do the deal as a cancellation, cancel the deal and does not provide us with a car to the standards as the one we purchased within the same price arrange or ajusted budget provided to him.

i understand he is running a business but he failed to disclose to us that the vehicle had cosmetic work done, he wants to repair the vehicle for me but it is unfair to pay full price for a vehicle which had panel beating work done on bonnet, both fenders, passenger door and both rear panels.

i have informed Volkswagen South africa on 27/07/2016 via **********
"I have called and spoken to Ashley on 28/07/2016, who indicated Sagheerah the case worker on my issue will contact me before end of business 28/07/2016. (No call received)

I called and spoken to Alex 29/07/2016 13:45 and was put through to the case worker Sagheerah and still unsuccessful with getting hold of her.

No one from VW support has called or responded to my email.

The dealer more concerned with making profit than he is of customer service.

What ever happended to buying a car from dealership for peace of mind??
