I booked my vehicle in on 24th October 2018 at 7:20am for issues that I was picking up with my vehicle, issues being: 1. Rear side at the wheels makes a humming sound when driving, sounds like it could be the wheel bearings, I currently have YOKOHAMA NEOVA Semi Slicks 19’’ tyres on my car, I also changed my tyres to Pirelli PZERO’s as I thought it might be the tyres making the humming sounds, but it wasn’t that, Winston said that the guys that was checking the car said it’s my tyres, after I explained to him it can’t be – So this issue won’t be sorted I can see. 2. Front brakes makes a squeaky sound when I brake and also feels finished when I brake hard a bit 3. Car holds gears for very long in normal drive, can hold one gear up to 4000rpm or more before actually changing into another gear while I’m not even pressing my throttle fully in. 4. Panoramic roof rattles So of all the above mentioned, since Friday I have been trying to get a hold of Winston (Service Advisor) as he called me Thursday to let me know the car will be checked, meaning Wednesday my car was basically just standing there, nonetheless, today 29th October I tried to get a hold of him the entire day, I was told by the receptionist she’s not sure why he does not returning customers phone calls, at 14:00pm today 29th October 2018 he called me and the following was said according to the above mentioned issues: 1. Nothing was checked as they assume it’s my tyres that causing the problem, so the bearings or nothing else was checked, assumptions was just made. 2. Nothing is wrong with my brakes, but he will ask the guys to disassemble them to check, so since Wednesday nothing was done with my car basically. 3. They did an adaption drive with my car, nothing was found on my gearbox, was my gearbox actually checked, I don’t even know. 4. Winston says the rattle is gone, the only thing that was actually fixed. I just received another call from Winston at 14:50 today, THERE WAS NOTHING FOUND WRONG WITH MY CAR!!! So basically I booked it in for 4 days to be told there is nothing wrong with my car, this could have been done on Thursday last week. I’m pretty sure that car will give the same problems, but I will change the tyres and take it back so the guys can see I’m not out here to bull**** people, my car will still hold gears for longer, which affects my fuel consumption, something I need to record via video clearly so again the guys can see I’m not bull****ting people. My brakes will still make the sounds, how do I get rid of that, no recommendation from Winston.
