Pathetic after sales service...!!

I am VERY disappointed in VW for not keeping spares for cars they sell. My motorized boot is jammed and after I told them I need it fixed before the long weekend, they now tells me that parts must be ordered from Germany. Not only must I now load suitcases and baggage through the rear doors, but it will be a mission getting to the spare wheel. I am not unreasonable, but I am sure they could take a boot lock out of a demo car, or even a new car in the mean time. Or offer a similar courtesy vehicle, but no - sorry sir, it's out of our hands.
