New Polo TSI sold brand new but has broken down within 6 months : I am so dissapotinted in VW
I had bought a new polo TSI vw last year 10 October 2018 at Lindsay Saker VW in Kempton Park .My car was due for its first service that is 15000Km and booked it in for service at the same dealership on 13 April 2019. I then took i8t for service on that Saturday 13 April 2019 and was assisted by Prudence. She asked me if the car was service there before, I told her that it was new and was the first time I brought it in. She checked on their system and I she told me the car had history that is it was serviced on 05 October 2018, and she then referred me to the Service advisor Ignatius. The service advisor then shown me that the head light was repair on 05 October 2018 and the cost was claimed from the warranty of the car. I told her how can they sell me a car as new were as it was repaired before it was given to me, Why was I not told this before I signed for the car on 10 October 2018. I was referred to a salesman(Eschel Pretorius) that took my contact details and told me I will be called by the manager and until today I have not received any call or explanation of the above incident as well as my service invoice for the service done on my car on 13 April 2019. As a consumer as well as a women I feel like the dealership has misled and had contracted with me in bad faith. I also told the sales man that I have a sketch on my car because as I was driving out my driveway the car revised on the gate as the hand break was not working properly, I only got confirmation later that there were problems with handbrakes on the cars, they call them campaigns. I also told the sales man that my clutch also burns and smells very bad more especially when I am stuck in traffic. The smell will take days to furnish and it seems like I will burn in the car. In addition to the above the car broke down on 20 April 2019 cause the gears got stuck . The car is currently with the dealership and there is no clear answer as to what the problem is. I was first told it could be a battery fault now this morning they were talking about a clutch. The car was sold to me with lots of factory faults and now these defects are my problems and I have paid for a brand new car for peace of mind but I am only experiencing night mares within 6 months of having the car. VWSA complaints call centre has not helped at all either the service is terrible from both the dealership and the manufacturer.
