Manager **** about car service

I bought a second hand VW Tiguan from Lindsay Saker Eastrand mall on 13 June 2016. Before I bought the car, one of the questions I asked the manager, Pierre, was if the car has been serviced. He told me the car was serviced on 85000km, which at that time was about 2000km's earlier. About a month and a half after I bought the car the service indicator came on and when I checked the service book it showed that the car was last serviced on 75000km. On 18 July I emailed the sales person and informed him of the problem. After getting no reply I phoned him on 20 July, he told me that the manager was on holiday but was returning that same day and he will talk to him and let me know. On the 25th of July I phoned Lindsay Saker head office because I have still had no reply from the dealership. The very friendly lady told me to speak to the dealer principle at the dealership. So I phoned the dealer principle and told him the story. He was very defensive and told me the manager, Pierre, will never lie but he will ask them to contact me. Very shortly after that the salesperson contacted me and told me they forgot about me but the car was definitely serviced but not at Lindsay Saker and the service centre they used forgot to reset the computer and stamp the book. He then sent me a invoice from this other service centre as proof that it was serviced. But still everything felt very strange to me because firstly, why would Lindsay Saker have their cars serviced at another company and secondly, I have never had a car serviced where they forgot to stamp the book or reset the computer. I decided to take the car to a trusted service centre. The mechanic there had a look at the brake pads and immediately told me that they are completely worn and should have already been replaced. He then opened the air filter and showed me all the dirt falling out and told me the air filter has not been cleaned in at least 15000km's. On the invoice that was sent to me as proof of service, it stated that a new air filter was installed. That same day, the 29th of July, I phoned Lindsay Saker head office again to notify them of this which is now becoming a serious issue. They said that the will open a case and get back to me as soon as possible. I have phoned Lindsay Saker head office multiple times since then, always getting the promise that management will contact me. Today is the 8th of August and I am still waiting to hear from them.
