Lindsay Saker VW Midrand sold me a damaged car!

I traded in a Renault Clio for a Golf VI GTI which financed under MFC, upon purchase of the Golf VI GTI I experienced several problems namely:

1. I took a car which had no permit nor number plates or disk on it reason being I was told that permits are outdated, if the Metro stopped me I should give them the contract of the car, which did not make sense at that point but I was however persuaded to do that as I had no any other car at the moment.

I was later stopped by the SAPS which noticed that the car had no permit nor any number plates, I then did as advised by Nicky Thipe from Lindsay Saker Midrand who was the salesperson responsible for the car. The SAPS refused to take the contract of the car and the reason I provided. Further, they wanted to impound the car because it was ******* for a car to be on the road without the permit or number plates with the disk. The SAPS escorted me home to park the car and advices me to fix the issue with the dealer. Later in the week I went to Lindsay Saker Midrand where I was given wrong sets of number plates which did not match the disk of the car. Later that was fixed and I was given new sets of number plates and disk.

2. I further advised them that the boot of the car was not working and I was told to come back the following day as they would order a new boot lock and install it. Upon arrival the following day to my surprise the new boot lock was not ordered. For a temporary solution they therefore installed a boot lock from another car as I was told that when the new boot lock arrives I will be contacted. To this date I was never contacted for the boot lock.

3. Moreover, the car had problems with the water pump and coolant, when I therefore took the car back I was advised to put in water on a daily basis as they were ordering new water pumps and coolants, that was early June 2017.

4. Recently I had a breakdown at O.R Tambo International Airport (Engine, Rooftop) and the car was towed to the nearest VW Dealer which is Lindsay Saker VW Kempton Park. Upon diagnosis it was discovered that the Engine was worn out and Rusty and they quoted for a new engine and the total amount of the diagnosis amounted to R146 848.21

When I approached Lindsay Saker Midrand, they refused to take responsibility of any damage apart from the water pump and coolants (which were also included in the quotation) the same water pump and coolants that were promised six months ago were only brought in today (11 December 2017)

I am under SA warranties which authorized R20 000 towards the entire quotation. I am under enormous stress in as to how am I going to pay for the remain costs, as I am under debt counseling. I am amazed at the state of the car I sold by the VW Lindsay Saker Midrand. I was told that I drove the car for five months to date and that is my responsibility to fix the car.
