Lindsay Saker Refuses to Reimburse Agreed Brake Repair Costs
I purchased a Polo Vivo TSI from Lindsay Saker last month. Within days, I discovered the front and rear brake pads and discs were severely worn, making the car unsafe to drive.
I reported this immediately and was referred to Motus Polokwane, with the dealership promising to cover repair costs. After two days at Motus, the dealership refused to approve the quotation, saying they would ship the parts instead. To avoid further delays and taxi expenses, I arranged for the parts to be fetched so repairs could be done on Saturday.
When I arrived at Motus, I was told repairs could not be done without upfront payment due to limited technicians. I contacted the DP, who agreed that I could take the car to an RMI-accredited workshop, pay for repairs myself, and be reimbursed.
I did exactly that, submitted the invoice, and was promised repayment — but it has now been over 9 days, and I still have not received my money.
This is unacceptable for a dealership of Lindsay Saker’s reputation. they need to honour verbal commitments and reimburse me immediately.
