***********

I took my car in for a service at Lindsay Saker VW Alberton last week Thursday (20June2019). While the car was with them they called me and said the alignment on my car is not right and needs to fixed. My car had been fine and going straight. Since I bought the car from this very same dealership as a brand new car, I thought I could trust them. So I said if they think the alignment needs to be fixed then they can go ahead and fix it. After fetching the car after the service I noticed the car swaying towards the left side. So I went back to them to ask what’s happening coz my car was fine and not swaying to the side before the service and the alleged need to fix alignment. Lindsay Saker VW Alberton then told me that my car has a slow punch on the front wheel so I told them if there was any form of punch the car would have indicated to me on the dashboard as it usually does with the left rear wheel. Then the guy said no the car can never tell you if you having a slow punch and his colleague corrected him saying that these models do indicate if there is a punch. They then took the car to test drive and came back saying it sways to the left quiet badly. So they swapped the front wheels, taking left to the right and the right to the left. They then said if the problem persists I should go back to them. My car is now swaying to the right. How many times must I be going to VW for this? What a waste of my time. My car was fine, it was just there for a service then they claimed there was a problem with alignment. Now my family has to travel in a unsafe car just because VW doesn’t know what they doing....so ***********.
