Horrible aftersales and lack of transparency !

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle at your VW Fourways end of October 2024 . the F&I Kailashnee called me to inform me that my finance application was approved with a 5yrs 90 000km Maintained plan which I accepted . The vehicle had 21 ****m at the time of purchase on the odometer with a balance of a maintenance plan from previous owner 5yr 60 000km expiring October 2026 .

My understanding was that when the plan expires in 2026 ,my one will then kick in till 90 000km or 5yrs however I am made aware that the plan I bought is from 2021 (when I was NOT in possession of the vehicle ) to October 2026 as well . My question is why would i buy a duplicate cover on a vehicle that has low mileage and buy cover that I will never get to use ?

This is unfair practice and totally against the consumer right Act . Why would she sell me something that she would not buy herself ? I requested a cancellation of this extra plan I was sold with no proper explanation with a full refund or extend the plan from 2026 .

Emailed a dealer principal , Sales manager they all just ignoring me .

Standard practice is that you sell the vehicle to the customer , inform what plan the vehicle has or don’t have . when the current plan expires you then call the client to ask if they wish to extend . My Expectation form a reputable dealer like Lindsay Saker was transparency and proper after sale service .

Unfortunately for them i am not one or those customers who get taken advantage of by Automotive industry and keep quite . i will take this to the very top.
