goods provided not in good order

<p>we bought a Audi A4 at VW Lindsay Saker Alberton which was adverstised at 75000 KMs, when we went to pick up the car it had no carpets, service book, no manual and the car was dirty inside and the last time the car was inspected was in August, and we noticed that the car was sold for the same amount however it was now on 78000 KMs...we immediately contacted the sales person who asked us to come back the next day, when we inspected the car, it had dents, chips and it had different brand tyres with 3 worn out tyres and 1 seemingly new tyre which had a slow puncture, we spoke to Mike, a very arrogant used cars manager who immediately dismissed our claim and insisted that the car passed a roadworthy test with all those things we mentioned, we decided to complain at Audi who also tried to get the Smita who is apparently a dealer principal and she claims we knew about these issues before we took the car and we asked for proof which we are still waiting for together with the sevice book, manual and all the other staff...i understand the car gets test driven, but i am sure that a car cannot be test driven for up to 4000Kms in a space of one and a half months, not sure how did Smita and Mike come up with that such a silly excuse, this was false advertising and poor business ethics especially for a brand like Lindsay Saker! we took the car to an independent test station and the car failed the roadworthy test even though the dealership claims to have taken the car for a roadworthy and it passed, i wonder how did that happen!</p> <p>My wife was recording all the converstaions with Mike and the salesman, i am grateful she did that since it is information that can be used to prove that we got a raw deal...</p>
