Disgusted by after sale service

<p>I was in the market for a car for my daughter...after looking and searching for a while,one car a Blue Toyota caught my eye and i enquired about it....i contacted the dealership and was assisted by a sales exec Mr Godfrey Aphane ...,he was very helpful, friendly and even drove the car all the way to Sandton for me to view. I was impressed and agreed to buy the car with an extended warranty, this was September 2015....obviously he would - he wants to make a sale and get his commission.</p> <p>My first nasty experience was when i informed Mr Aphane about the paint on the bumper thats starting to peel off, needless to say he tried to shift the blame and made countless excuses....i left it at that.</p> <p>My daughter informed me about A light that is on on the dashboard recently and took the car to Toyota in Rivonia to find out that there was an issue with the warranty, it was never captured and put in our name, the warranty was still in the previous owners name...how can this be as the car was bought cash???? Now after contacting Godfrey insteat of helping which is the least he could do, he sends us from pillar to post which i am not having this time because it makes me feel that he got his commission now and doesnt care for something he was supposed to have done in the first place!!!!!</p> <p>My daughter is now driving the car with this light on in the meantime, so all documents will be submitted tomorrow and hopefully we'll get this entire warranty mess sorted out because i refuse to pay for this (which by the way) is covered by the warranty.</p> <p>I feel let down by this type of service we are receiving because of someone at the dealer's incompetence and will not refer anyone to go buy from or deal with Godfrey Aphane at this dealership, please note that if nothing is done, i will take this matter further.</p> <p> </p> <p>Had he treated this matter differently we obviously wouldn've reverted to a platform like this to complain.</p> <p>Just do what you supposed to do, before, during and after a sale!</p> <p> </p> <p>Simple.</p>
