Defected VW Polo 1.2 TSI

I purchased a 2014 VW Polo TSI last July from Lindsay Saker Hyde Park. Upon purchasing the vehicle I was informed by the salesman that the call button and voice command button weren't working at the time as they required a software update which I could only receive when I brought my car in for service after a year. Apparently because the vehicle was still new the software was not available in the country at the time of purchase. I took the vehicle in for its first service this week and requested the \software update"only to be told that my vehicle is defected and my steering wheel needs to be stripped! I decided to take the matter to the new car sales manager who was condescending to say the least. He mockingly told me that the car was built with these buttons not working and that I would have to accept that. The vehicle was advertised to have these features?! I have been **** to"
