Complaint

I want to express my dissapointment with VW LINDSAY SAKER MIDRAND. In March this year I bought a new polo 2.0 , 2019 model. I bought the car new and collected the car from the dealership. A month after I had the car it had a breakdown while I was driving to work, it just stopped all of sudden and the gears were not working. The car was towed to LINDSAY SAKER MIDRAND and they looked at the car and after a few days I was told the clutch was faulty and they replaced it. This was covered by warranty. I collected the car and after a month or so again I started hearing a knocking sound when changing the gears, I then took it to the dealership and explained what was happening. On that day a lady working at bookings was not in a good mood, she told me they can't take the car in because they did not have courtesy cars. She said they were gonna call me when there were courtesy cars available. I continued driving the car and the noise got worse and was very embarrassing especially when I had people in the car and they knew the car was new. After realizing the noise was not stopping around July I took it back and insisted they took it and only then they were moved to take it and give me a courtesy car. Again they checked the car and found out the noise was caused by loose panels which were never bolted or fastened when the car was made. It came like that from the factory. Now imagine the risk my life and that of my family was exposed to. I was driving a new car with loose panels, how did it pass the SABS test I don't know. Then today 1Sep 2019 the car had a breakdown again, it could not move forward or reverse, it was clutching in but not moving. So I called VW ASSIST and they come to fetch it. I really don't understand and now I am fed up. A new car and in a space of 5 months I have had 3 breakdowns. I don't want this car anymore. How can this be, this is my third VW and i never experienced such. The consultant that we dealt with when buying the car was very professional and very kind his name is Peter Mojela. This complaint is not about him but the car which I think was sold to us but not in a good condition from the factory. Imagine the bad publicity I have been to many with this car since i bought it. Today when it was being towed some onlookers were taking a video, and my heart sank. I feel like suing Lindsay saker midrand for this or VW SOUTH AFRICA, I mean this is not fair on me. A new car that breaks every now and then.
