𝐌𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐖 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 & 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐤𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚

I bought a 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐫 — 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨 — 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬, 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬, 𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐡 & 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐛 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐭 & 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰. This is how Lindsay Saker VW Germiston had my car delivered in Cape Town, 5 March 2025. They briefly apologised, didn’t even offer a valet for the grease & dirt marks… and from there it’s been delays, excuses and no accountability to get the matter resolved at VW standards.

No urgency. Poor communication. Little to no updates. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐕𝐖-𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 until VW Support intervened. Even after 3 quotes from VW-approved repairers were submitted, the dealership delayed further, altered quotes behind my back, and then rejected all three the moment I was included in the conversation.

It’s been two and a half months and my brand new car still hasn't been repaired. 𝐈 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. 𝐈 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦. 𝐈 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩!! Volkswagen South Africa's inaction has been just as disappointing!!
